Robert Rumery is a Maine-born author whose creative spark ignited in the late β90s with fan fiction and never stopped burning. From horror-filled alleyways to pixelated fantasy worlds, his stories are fueled by a love of video games, anime, and all things supernatural.
Growing up in the small town of Milo, Maine, Robert graduated from Penquis Valley High School in 2003 and later spent time living in Connecticut. He's a self-made storyteller who taught himself computer repair in his teens—just so he could keep writing when his tech failed. That determination still drives him today.
His work spans multiple genres including urban fantasy, horror, science fiction, and poetry. Whether heβs exploring vampiric infestations in small-town America or crafting kid-friendly adventures in a video-game-inspired realm, Robert blends nostalgia, action, and emotion with ease.
Adventures in GameWorld: Game Start β A thrilling, retro-inspired fantasy tale for younger readers and the young at heart.
Demon Hunters Inc.: The Infestation β Think Supernatural, but set in Connecticut with new blood.
Impulse β A dark, superpowered journey where the hero walks the line between savior and destroyer.
The Dark Poet: Poetry from a Dark Mind β A raw and haunting collection of verse that explores the shadows within.
Thirteen: The Horror Continues β An anthology of dark tales that echo long after you turn the page.
When he's not writing, Robert is usually gaming, watching anime, or brainstorming his next big idea over a cold Moxie (a true Maine classic).
His mission? To tell stories that entertain, inspire, and remind readers—especially young ones—that itβs okay to dream big, be different, and fight for what you believe in.
